Explosions
Explosions happen casual, more often anthropogenic when because of various infringements of a technological mode or malfunction of the equipment there are accidents on the manufactures connected with the use or manufacturing of combustible and explosive substances. Air-gas mixes or steams of organic solvents blow up in most cases. Intended explosions also happen- these are either diversions, or shootouts. Capacity of explosions is different, and their consequences are very similar.
New kind of production of group of companies "LVI-Povolzhe" are blast-proof glasses. Their occurrence was preceded by serious research and skilled works which were spent both in laboratories and on range in conditions when new composites were exposed to an influence of a shock wave to explosions of various capacity (from 100 to 400 gram of a trotyl equivalent). Four types of such composites — blast-proof glasses — were created on the basis of architectural silicate glass of the thickness of 4 mm on which self-glued films of a various thickness were installed. These glasses are intended for filling clear aperture. One type of a composite is created on the basis of silicate glass of the thickness 8 +/-2 mm on both parties of which are installed self-glued films of a demanded thickness. Thus, blast-proof glasses of group of companies "LVI-Povolzhe" represent a composite consisting of silicate glass of mark М1. . М8 in accordance with GOST 111 and полиэтилентерефталатных films corresponding to requirements TY 2245-006017071027-00 (certificate РОСС U.S. АЯ 02. С18185).
The trotyl charge was in all cases on distance of three meters from the glass center, and after a blast wave influence, through destruction of glass wasn't observed and formation of glass splinters, both on obverse, and on the back party of glass.
Specifications TY 5923-008-17071027-00 provide five degrees of blast-proof: three degrees for glass of the thickness 4 +/-0,5 the mm, one degree for glass of the thickness 8 +/-2 mm, and one degree for a double-glazed window of the formula 4-12-4. Certified tests were spent by Test center GU NPO "the Special equipment and communication" the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation on the one of the ranges of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. By results of the tests conformity certificates have been given out to the group of companies "DVI-Povolzhe".
When explosions of mixes of household gas with air (дефлаграционных explosions) installation of films on glasses from within a premises for increase of a crash durability of glazing at a crash influence from outside considerably will weaken firmness of glazing at a blow from inside, thereby will sharply reduce the influence of дефлаграционного explosion on people and home decoration which is inside.
