Noise insulation
There is a simple way of increase of sound insulation of the windows, not needed a dismantling of glasses and reconstruction or replacement of frames.
After installation of self-glued films for lamination, common glass turns into a composite consisting of PEF film, the Young’s modulus of which is equal 0,2-0,3х109, glasses with , the Young’s modulus more than 750х109 and constantly sticky connecting layer, the Young’s modulus of which comes nearer to zero.
Such a composite possesses shift-dumping characteristics that considerably reduce noise passage through the glass.
Films can be put on existing windowpanes without their dismantling. Results are more powerful at association of glasses in double-glazed windows. The film layers which are marked on the glass in a combination with characteristics weakening a noise of an air interval of a double-glazed window create an effect of the maximum reduction of noise. For example, two sheets of 6mm laminated with an air interval 12 mm provide noise reduction 42 dB. For comparison: if to collect a double-glazed window out of two not laminated glasses, noise reduction will make 35 dB that corresponds to noise increase roughly in 5 times.
