Film

Who needs window film?
- owners of personal assets and real assets
- owners of urban flats and luxury suites
- leaseholders of property with responsibility leasable area
- managers of companies, leaseholders of real values
- companies that deal with recondition and reconstruction of the buildings
- house-building and woodworking firms
- designers and decorators
- companies that deal with heating and air conditioning
- warehouses and retail outlets, commercial buyers
- owners of the halls of mass visiting
- professional official complexes
- companies of commerce and delivery of window glass
- hosing-operation firms.
Peculiarities of films.
- Reflection and/or absorption of heat:
Total level from 40 to 80% from the general quantity of heat. Regulation of the quantity of transparency: different levels of reduction of transparency. The reduction of loss of the heat through windows: from 4 to 44%.
- Absorption of ultraviolet radiation:
Qualitative films usually absorb 95-99% of UV radiation. Different colors are available: the basic is colorless, silver, bronzer, smoky, grey.
- the glass is made shockproof and shatter-proof (no splintering):
All sheet glasses are needed to be verified in capacity of formation of splinters and stand all the tests.
Visual properties:
all industrial standards of films that are displayed must be kept within inflexible fixed tolerance. Capacity to resist scratching.
Manufacturing techniques of films make its surface steady to scratching and find conceivable to be cleaned by detergents.
The main benefit from using the films:
- capacity to make the glass shockproof and no splintering;
- prevention of spread the fire;
- creation of intimate atmosphere, comfort of tenants;
- creation of the necessary form;
- creation indoors the zones with adjustable balance heat/cold;
- regulation of illuminance;
- reduction of running costs;
- reduction of expenses of energy on heating and air-conditioning;
- reduction of patches of light;
- esthetics;
- reduction of fading;
- obstacle to news leak on acoustic, optical and electromagnetic channels.
Concepts "solar energy" and "heat transfer"
Films of the American manufacture are acknowledged as a film for regulation of quantity of the solar energy getting indoors. Sun radiation is one of the forms of electromagnetic radiation. All the forms of energy can be characterized by the length of waves. The electromagnetic spectrum of the solar energy getting on the Earth, is subdivided into three ranges by the length of waves: an ultra-violet range (100-400 nanometers) — the most active part of radiation causing fading of pictures and home decoration. Ultra-violet light possesses high biological activity and under its long influence can cause such diseases, as defeat of a retina of eyes and even a skin cancer. Ultra-violet light makes about 3 % of a solar spectrum. Visible light (380-780 nanometers) is that part of a solar spectrum which is perceived by a human eye. Intensity of sunlight is greatest in a visible zone, and green light — the most widespread on the Earth. 44 % of solar energy is fitted to visible light. Near infra-red light (БИК) is a thermal radiation. We don't see this light, but we feel it as a heat. 53 % of solar energy is fitted on БИК.
The range of distant infra-red light is behind near infra-red light and isn't a part of solar energy, but is a solving component of loss of the heat which we will consider later.
Having compared properties of glass of an average transparency of 3 mm with a painted film and a metallized film, we will receive the following table:

Conclusions:
- Neither pure glass, nor painted film can't reflect the same amount of light, as metallized film in the ranges of visible and infra-red light.
- While pure glass passes almost all energy of the sunlight, the painted films pass some amount of ultra-violet light and all near infra-red light. Mirror films pass little amount of visible light and little amount in other ranges.
- Glass absorbs little solar energy. Mirror films absorb all ultra-violet light and some amount in visible and infra-red ranges. The painted films absorb all ultra-violet light, large amount of visible light and almost don't absorb light in an infra-red range of a spectrum.
Reflecting films should be applied for regulation of amount of radiation in an infra-red range of the light.

Economy of energy |
|
The film considerably cuts expenses on conditioners as detains about 75 % of solar heat in glass. The label of film Sun Control will reduce penetration of solar heat in the car. That reduces level of heating and gives additional effect of a cool, reducing loading on the conditioner
